Okay, where has the time gone? How is it almost mid-January! I haven't posted in almost a month (oops), so I'm going to do a little update on life lately. A few weeks ago some friends and I went to the Homestead Crater, which is a hot spring in a cave like 20 minutes away from Park City. It was fun to float and swim around and it was pretty rejuvenating. That's been my more adventurous outing, as I've mostly been working. A lot. But I actually love it. I work at a ski resort so it's a lot of fun, and I get to be outside all day which beats the hell out of working in a restaurant like I've done since I was like... 17. I don't think I'll ever be able to work indoors again. Although the few days it was -15 degrees out were pretty brutal, it's usually really nice. My coworkers are awesome and hilarious (and cute), and I get ski breaks every day. Due to my hiatus from skiing the last couple years, my technique could use a little work, so I'm grateful to squeeze in some runs for practice every shift. I'm really loving this winter season so far... meeting new people, getting back into skiing, and staying really busy. It's nice to just live in the moment and enjoy my hometown, and to not be counting down the seconds to summer as usual!
